I was told today that you passed away.
I don’t know why God took you so soon,
but I know that now you’re with the Lord.
May you rest in peace, with the utmost love <3

P.S: I hope you keep your running record at UCLA. A 3:45 minute mile is amazingly impressive.
Dear world,
Apparently I’ve unintentionally offended some people. Let me say three things.
1. I’m pedantic in the sense that I always follow directions.
2. I forget how other people may interpret things because of how I’m feeling.
3. When I say I’m sorry about something, I mean it.
Fun fact: Mukhannathun were recognized and treated with respect in late-antiquity Arabia. Look up what that is if you don’t already know. :)
The Qur’an Sura 24 verse 31 (as translated by Shakir): And say to the believing women that they cast down their looks and guard their private parts and do not display their ornaments except what appears thereof, and let them wear their head-coverings over their bosoms, and not display their ornaments except to their husbands or their fathers, or the fathers of their husbands, or their sons, or the sons of their husbands, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their women, or those whom their right hands possess, or the male servants not having need (of women), or the children who have not attained knowledge of what is hidden of women; and let them not strike their feet so that what they hide of their ornaments may be known; and turn to Allah all of you, O believers! so that you may be successful.
Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 41, Number 4910: Narrated AbuHurayrah: A mukhannath who had dyed his hands and feet with henna was brought to the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him). He asked: What is the matter with this man? He was told: Apostle of Allah! he affects women’s get-up. So he ordered regarding him and he was banished to an-Naqi’. The people said: Apostle of Allah! should we not kill him? He said: I have been prohibited from killing people who pray. AbuUsamah said: Naqi’ is a region near Medina and not a Baqi (in other words not referring to Jannat al-Baqi cemetery.’[1]
Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 32, Number 4095: Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu’minin: A mukhannath (eunuch) used to enter upon the wives of Prophet (peace_be_upon_him). They (the people) counted him among those who were free of physical needs. One day the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) entered upon us when he was with one of his wives, and was describing the qualities of a woman, saying: When she comes forward, she comes forward with four (folds in her stomach), and when she goes backward, she goes backward with eight (folds in her stomach). The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Do I not see that this (man) knows what here lies. Then they (the wives) observed veil from him. [2]

It is said that people will forget what you do and what you say, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
My problem is that I remember what you say and what you do because I analyze why you made me feel that way. Haha. :)
